Curriki, an online platform of K–12 open educational resources (OER) has created a Beta site in Spanish language to deliver Spanish OER resources to learners worldwide. Although the platform has already 629 free educational resources written in Spanish, wants to expand its collection of resources in this language.
To do so, Curriki has opened a call for Spanish-language educators to publish their best Spanish-language teaching materials on Curriki’s education content library.
“We believe that offering Spanish-language curricula is a significant first step toward providing teachers, schools and parents with the support they need to reach every child, and for students to access resources in their native language,” wrote Kim Jones, Curriki CEO, in the announcement.
Educators are welcome to submit lesson plans, units, assessments, instructional videos in the areas of language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and history on the site.
Curriki’s mission is to eliminate the Education Divide worldwide. Currently, Curriki has more than 256,000 teaching and learning resources from English to Spanish.
