Teclabs, Tecnológico de Monterrey‘s center for innovation in education and learning, and the leading accelerator in LATAM, Orion Startups, are launching a corporate accelerator program in educational technology.
The corporate accelerator program, Edtech Accelerator, is a Teclabs initiative that aims to encourage entrepreneurs interested in transforming the world of education through new methods for teaching and learning.
Teclabs Edtech accelerator is looking for companies in the following areas: future of K-12, emerging techologies for learning, lifelong learning, online learning and higher education. Tecnológico de Monterrey will act as a lab to test their business ideas.
The projects will enter into a 5-month acceleration program and receive a $30,000 USD investment in shareholding. The program will take place in two strategic cities: Chihuahua and Monterrey.
