5 new google cloud courses debut in coursera

Five new Google Cloud programs aim to prepare students to build secure infrastructures in the cloud, transform data into business value and boost the potential of machine learning.

Up to 375 million workers will need to change jobs by the year 2030; at least it is what Mckinsey estimates. Automation and the uncontrolled development of the different branches of Artificial Intelligence will demand the acquisition of new skills and abilities.

Google aims to instill these types of skills the jobs of the future will demand, and it launched five new alternative credential programs in Coursera ­­to prepare students to build secure infrastructures in the cloud, transform data into business value and boost the potential of machine learning.

1. Machine Learning Data Scientist

Specialization through five courses, with practical activities to create accurate Machine Learning models capable of managing and analyzing large volumes of data.

2. Data Engineer

A course for data professionals responsible for designing, building, analyzing and optimizing Big Data solutions. This program provides the necessary preparation to acquire the Google Cloud Professional Engineer certification.

3. Cloud Architect

Six-course specialization designed for IT experts to implement, migrate and maintain applications in the cloud. Also, it offers the necessary knowledge to obtain a Google Cloud certification. Its program includes or introduction to the Kubernetes –open source systems to optimize workloads of companies.

4. Application Developer

A course designed to develop and implement applications of the Google Cloud ecosystem; to create native apps and improve existing ones.

5. Data Expert

Accelerated specialization to analyze and visualize data through interactive scenarios to manage information from various BigQuery datasets.

Recently Google launched a portal with Machine Learning free tutorials and resources. Today, with the help of Coursera, it promotes and extends the reach of its Google Cloud services.

Acquiring alternative credentials is essential in the face of the forthcoming turbulent work environment.
